Upload speed much quicker than download?

Why would my upload speed be quicker than download. I am using the ZTE mf286 router.

The only problem I have is cost. It is cheap but it does suck though. I use it for Netflix and most of the time since I had it for a few days I have been able to watch with out buffering. I don't have fiber in the area
