Upload Speed on MWeb Uncapped 384kbps

This PDF from MWeb indicates that the upload speed on 384kbps lines is 192kbps. My router is only syncing up at 128kbps. Is anyone on a 384kbps line syncing up at 192kbps?

Telkom only lets you have 128upload on 384 line. If you want higher upload get a 512line.

I don't particularly want/need faster upload speeds. However, I think MWeb should update the information they provide to customers to accurately reflect the service they are offering.

I could have sworn that my upload was 256 when I was on 384 with Cybersmart. Or maybe I just assumed it was?

Why? The account upload speed has nothing to do with your line's upload speed.

They can. If you run the account on a 512 line you will get the 192 upload.

I think that Mweb PDF is seriously out of date (or just plain wrong).

The Mweb PDF states the upload speed for the 4Mbps package is 384K, and we all know that Telkom upgraded this to 512K long ago:

Does anybody on this forum on a 384K line have a faster upload synch speed than 128Kbps?

They just did.

128kbps for all 384kbps lines.

They can. If you run the account on a 512 line you will get the 192 upload.

Getting 384kbps down on a 512kbps line to get 192kbps up instead of 12kbps

I don't see why MWeb should update their info if they are actually offering 192Kbps upstream on a 384Kbps line.

My previous 384Kbps ADSL line would sync with an upstream of 640Kbps. I'm not sure if that was a Telkom fault at the exchange or not but my upload speeds were fantastic.
So if I was still using that line I would actually get 192Kbps on MWeb 384 uncapped.
