Upload speeds?

I was under the impression that upload speeds on MyWireless was max 128k...

I've got the 256k package and needed to download something off my box today, and this is what I got:

you can then create your own folder (usually automatically hidden) and upload whatever

it's only online for a several hours before getting deleted though

I heard the upload speed is half the speed of your package, e.g. if you have 128 it's 64, if you have 256 it's 128, if you have 512 it's 256.

What I would like to know though is, if you're uploading and downloading simulataneously, do you still get the maximum in both directions (e.g. 128 + 64), or does the max download speed decrease while you're uploading to give a total tx+rx rate equal to your package max?

I don't believe this is true, i've got the 128kb package and my uploads to work are around 16k/s which is indicitave of 128kb

I get about 19kb/s on the 128k pack[^]

Yeah I've found the bandwidth to be symmetrical too. I get the same up/download speeds.

But still, can you upload 15k/s(or 8k/s) and download 15/ks SIMULTANEOUSLY.. i.o.w uploading doesnt harm your downloads one bit (like ISDN) except of course if its maxing the pipe..(ACKs etc)
