Upload stats

What would cause upload stats? My stats are shown below and I cannot figure out what would have caused 2GB uploaded???

Downloaded : 2.7503 GB for the month
Uploaded : 2.0712 GB for the month [!] [!] [!]
Total bandwidth used : 4.8216 GB for the month

Spyware, Virus, Trojan...
Clean your machine first, install a firewall and monitor the logs.

thx mbs, and as usual Telkom can't provide me with the detailed logs for this! I redid my machine last weekend, and installed sp2 from winXP, but is busy building a pc for LINUX which I will use as a firewall for all my home PC's

habadaba... if u looking fo out-the-box firewall ... look at smoothwall or ipcop .. I tried smoothwall but ipcop worked better with my modem setup ...
