Uploading a PHP/MYSQL Application on Afrihost

I have a PHP/MYSQL application that I want to upload on a subdomain I created, but I am battling the guys at Afrihost tried helping me but couldn't come right. I would highly appreciate your help guys

Are any errors outputted? Some things to do in the mean time:

1. Make sure that all of your paths are relative.
2. Upload the files to the subdirectory folder in /public_html/[subdirfoldername].
3. Upload the database tables.
4. Change your database authentication variables in your PHP script(s).

Are you sure that your package has MySQL support? Only Gold Home and above have MySQL.

Sorry guys

I uploaded the files to the subdomain and imported the database tables on phpmyadmin, when I go to the subdomain to access the application only the files appear not the actual application. I am on gold home

Have you named your default file index.php?

That's why I use visual studio and love its publish web application feature.

Were you able to test the application while working offline and hosting on xampp or whatever that's called? If you could do that then moving to an online host shouldn't be too different.
