Planning to buy a EcoFlow RIVER Pro 600w 720Wh Potable Power Station for a Hisense 65 inch tv - Philips sound bar - LG Blu-ray player - Smart globe standard lamp stand. I have come late to the market for this UPS so I know there is a lot of forum users that have had years of experience with these units. Looking forward to expert advice on my possible purchase

That isn't a UPS it's a portable power supply, in fact I don't think it actually even has UPS functionality so you can't keep it plugged in and it will just switch over when Eskom is off.
This would probably be a better choice, closer to the ecoflow, sure not as portable, but half the price, just plug it in, it will charge and switch over without an issue.

all in ones price per KWh are always pathetic
and expanding externally connected batteries is easy if you later realise more would be nice

hence i would lean towards a unit like lupus suggested
and then check price per KWh sometimes going a bit bigger at this initial purchase point is less penny wise pound foolish

cause most tend to expand later anyway as we get fed up with shedding and add some more devices like fridges etc, or have no choice but to add them to not lose the contents

and if you can get a device that can take solar later with the ways things are going may be a nice option to have for later
