Hi guys,

It is time to replace my 1kVA ups.

I want to replace it with a 1kVA or 1,2kVA ups. What brand and where is the best place to buy?

What UPS do you have and what equipment do you want to power with it?

Secondly, why do you want to replace your UPS? Usually you just replace the batteries of the UPS, unless you want to get a bigger/better one - like I went from a poor Proline 650VA to an APC SUAi 1000VA unit last year.

I have a MicroNet UPS, with 2 12V 7,5Ahr batteries. It is powering PC, screen, modem, amp and Hi-Fi. When I replaced the batteries 2 yrs ago, I was lucky to get replacement batteries.

And an transistor was "blown" off the pc board after a thunder storm, fortunately it did not stuff up the UPS.
