We havent had loadshedding since we got our cctv installed, but now, lucky us it's loadshedding is back
What size ups would I need to keep my cctv cameras going. We have 4cameras

Our router is not in the same room as our camera system.

I can't remember if we need cctv hooked up to our router for the app to work or if the cctv will record without the router working...

I have a ups box that someone gave me but it's only a 650v so don't think it Will do much or am I wrong?

Think you meant to say 650W? The UPS should work, not sure how much power cctv uses, just think you might need one of these:

Also, it will record without the router as it's recording to the internal hdd, you just can't stream it on your phone.

Best to get a power brick thing for the router like gizzu or ultralan etc, think there's a thread somewhere about them. You just need to know what voltage your router takes.

think it's this one: https://mybroadband.co.za/forum/threads/router-battery-backup.993476/page-124
