UPS for PS4

I usually keep my PS4 in 'rest' so that I can start downloads etc from my office.

With load shedding in place properly, I've come home and it said something about not being shut down correctly. Is there a way for a UPS to somehow shut it off when the power goes out?

Or do I need software on the PS4 to assist with that?
My only choice to shut down completely?

I don't think the PS4 supports wake-on-lan or any UPS functionality. I don't think the PS4 has a setting that it will fully power off after a certain period in rest mode. The UPS would not help in a power-outage as the UPS would run empty and has no option to power down the PS4.
