Due to the huge increase in ambient temperatures should businesses be worrying about their UPS's?

We have a UPS with a digital display, a warning was received yesterday about the temperature.
The Max temp is 35 deg, however the ups hit that temp yesterday. Being that its a 15 kva I do worry a little about it.

Any thoughts on this?
Should we be concerned?

Any electrical equipment works better in cool temperatures.

In a UPS though, the main expensive component are the batteries.
Its more than likely yours are Lead Acid, and those most definitely want a cool stable environment.
Roasting batteries lowers the lifetime substantially (the data sheets for Lead Acid batteries show that clearly)

Decent equipment will probably have a temperature sensor and some cooling fan's internally to reduce heat.

Best though, is to ensure that the equipment is in a cool shaded location with a stable temperature, out of the sun.
If you can't do that, then a small fan blowing on the equipment will keep it cooler, at the expense of using more electricity.

If your equipment has an interior fan or three, then it also makes sense to ensure they're dust free and clean, and any vents are clean of dust. Only open and clean the interior if you are competent to do so. There are dangerous amount of amp's in a UPS!
