UPS or Voltage Regulator ?

i'm looking for something that would do proper voltage filtering and spike prevention. Now which would be better an UPS or Voltage Regulator which brings me to my second question, which brand

i see that APC sells a voltage regulators; Line-R 1200VA Automatic Voltage Regulator and so many UPS's to choose from

I say go for a 1000 vA UPS, (unless their gaming rigs, maybe then 1400vA) should be able to protect and regulate outputs to both PC's. I paid around R900 a few months ago, should be much cheaper now

ya a regulator wont do **** for power outs... get a UPS

Necuno make sure when buying your UPS that it's a true online UPS and not a line interactive etc UPS. I'd also recommend around 1500VA.
