Hi,

I have a 14000 mAH and a 8800 mAH ups.
Wanted to connect each one to a ONT (Huawei Vumatel) and router.

Which of the 2 devices draws more power? and should be connected to the larger ups.
Only using it for 1 pc connected via a network cable.

If you are only using one device on the UPS, you won't have issues no matter what.
I use an 8800mAh to power an ONT + Router and no matter what level of load shedding, it has survived powering both.

If you want to check which one consumes more power though, (Even though they would be very similar most likely) check the input power.
The Zyxel is 12v, 1.5A.

The charger for each device will tell you what the current & voltage requirements are & how much power they'll draw at max. P=VA

The 14000 mAH UPS should easily be able to run both for a 2HR loadshedding session without a big drop in battery capacity. My gizu is still above 75% after a 2 hour session & I have a old Asus router that draws 30W

For some reason my 8800 mAH suddenly doesn't make it through loadshedding.
Used to get close to 4 hours, but now with a network cable plugged in, its dead in under 2 hours.

The unit is about 2 months old so I will get a replacement and was looking to supplement it with a larger ups and split the devices across 2 x ups.

What brand is your 8800?
Gizzu is very reliable and affordable.
Mine is going strong for a year now and the battery level hardly drops during load shedding.
