Power trolley sales plummet

Cooper Power managing director Shane Holder has said that inverter trolley demand from end users has drastically decreased since the start of South Africa's current streak without load-shedding.

However, demand from more commercial clients has consistently increased over the same period.

I think that the influx of portable power stations like Ecoflow and Bluetti with their much more sophisticated battery management systems and smartphone monitoring apps have also taken a bite out of the trolley market.

Too many of these trolley systems have blown up or have a reputation for unreliability.

Plus the form factor, who wants a big old noisy power trolley in the corner of your lounge when you can have a sleek Ecoflow doing the same job.

Impossible, those trolleys are always about value for money. You could buy 3 for the price of these camping solutions. The majority of people are on a tight budget and these things end up being grudge purchases which aren’t necessary when the power stays on.
