Urgent: Lost emails

Windows Xp refuses to boot in any mode so we removed the drive and put it in another computer.

We can see the drive and all contents in Explorer but we cannot find all the emails.

We did a search for *.dbx but nothing shows up except a backup folder from months back.

How do we find the current emails?

Somewhere there...all the email stuff for outlook/outlook express is in that vicinity somewhere.

I recently managed to format a drive with a 9gb .pst file not copied. Took me a while to get it back, but 100% of emails have been recovered. Man that gave me hard time - especially when most applications said the .pst file wasn't a .pst file

You using Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, etc?

pst... it may be in a hidden place
