URGENT NOTICE SMS - ENOUGH

Today I decided to switch on my data card to my surprise I noticed an sms "URGENT NOTICE YOUR DATA HAS EXPIRED" got paranoid did the process to check how much data was left on the card and me as clumsy had the 3G Data SIM Card but with little data allocated instead of the 200 gig data sim.

I told the consultant I was worried but didn't know I contacted him from the wrong card number then I found the 200 gig card and switched on the device and received the same SMS from CELL C. "Urgent Notice your data has expired", nearly ended up in hospital/heart attack thought someone stole my data or CELL C had a glitch on their system.

Surely I shouldn't receive such SMS message unless that was marketing from CELL C to encourage me to get a data card which I am not interested.

I got the same SMS for my 200 gb sim. But when I checked the balance all seems good. Must be an marketing message.

Sort it out CellC. This is very annoying.

It's unacceptable to receive an SMS to that nature even though you've suffice data on both cards.

I am really considering to put my number on DMCA database to be opt-out from such material in future - find it to be annoying.

Got the same useless message. This while I am having connectivity issues, so made me (mistakenly) think I had run out of data

Also I am on the national opt-out list, which the Cell C spamming engine seems to conveniently ignore!
