country itself.

Otherwise you're saying 'Because Robert Mugabe is in power in Zimbabwe,
everyone in Zimbabwe is like Robert Mugabe' -
which I don't think is the logic you should be using.

To even be arguing on that level, is kind've weird.

Untrue.
a) the leader of a country is only voted for, by the percentage of people
who bother to vote. Often this is a minority to begin with.

So the 'leader' is only indicative of the wishes of the (often) minority segment
of the population, who for whatever reason, bothered to vote.

b) *points to Google and 'election voting fraud' and 'electronic voting fraud' -
which tends to show that the last two US elections, were not won by the sitting
President - or, for that matter, voted for, by a majority of the citizens who bothered to vote.

Look at percentages of populations who vote, versus the actual population figures.

Well frankly if you live in a democracy and you don't vote well your views don't count for much do they. Obviously that person doen't have much conviction otherwise they would have voted.
