Nah he was pointing out things are not kosher and there was no negative in pushing for in person voting. Now the Democrats are realizing this and coming on board. So yes it will boost confidence since the odds of a vote getting lost is less. A win for both sides.

If you want to talk fear mongering it is when they falsely claim he is trying to steal the election or will not leave the office if he loses.
 
Remember @OrbitalDawn claimed yesterday it was Republican-led legislatures that were preventing early ballots from being counted before the end of election day? (False information by the way as some Republican states like Florida allow for tallying of ballots before election day). Well in Wisconsin, a bill started by a Republican lawmaker passed in a bi-partisan fashion for the opening up of envelopes before election day.

The legislation passed 94-11 through the House and was concurred on by the Senate 35-2. The bill is headed to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s desk next.

Nearly 2.4 million voters had requested absentee ballots as of Tuesday, building toward what’s expected to be record mail-in participation during the coronavirus pandemic.

The bill, introduced by Sen. Ruth Johnson, R-Holly, will help clerks to better meet the unique demands of the Nov. 3 election, she said.

The legislation would allow clerks to begin opening envelopes from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. the day before Election Day, but only for the Nov. 3 election.

Court Orders Census Counting To Continue Through Oct. 31; Appeal Expected

A federal court has ordered the Trump administration to abandon last-minute changes to the 2020 census schedule and extend the time for counting for an additional month.

The preliminary injunction issued Thursday by U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh in the Northern District of California requires the Census Bureau to keep trying to tally the country's residents through Oct. 31.

The ruling is the latest development in a federal lawsuit over the administration's decision to shorten the timeline for the national head count. The Justice Department, which did not immediately respond to a request for comment, is expected to appeal the order, further complicating what could be the final days of counting for this year's census.

Koh found that the administration's truncated census schedule is likely to produce inaccurate numbers about historically undercounted groups, including people of color and immigrants. That, in turn, would harm the constitutional purpose of the count — to redistribute the seats in the House of Representatives among the states based on their latest populations.

I'm surprised he's made it this far tbh... having dealt with multiple 'people in decline' personally, it comes fast, and he was well on his way to no return... not sure what they're pumping him full of every day or two but its not anything on the market us plebs can get for our parents/grandparents

To get past them and into the heart of the building, I signed up for a desk in a coworking space on the 49th floor. Once there, I rode down to a different floor, the 43rd, and walked off the elevator. Before me stood a pristine office with shiny concrete floors, subdued gray couches, empty chairs, and a sign that read, “Qatar Investment Authority Advisory (USA) Inc.” and, in smaller type, “A subsidiary of the Qatar Investment Authority.” Nothing inside the place looked as if it had been touched. There was a marble welcome desk but no one to welcome visitors. On top of the counter sat a plant that looked like it had been dead for months.

Bombshell bombshell bombshell.. Sorry no. The article contains loads of payments but only speculation of wrong doing. If you have a diverse real estate portfolio chances are you'll have many clients that can be claimed to be controversial. I mean come on.. alleging China funding Trump when the U.S. Intelligence stated that China is supporting Biden

Rather focus on the actual bombshell that Emjay also mentioned. The actions were so illegal that a number of FBI agents purchased personal liability insurance to protect themselves if the new Attorney General “asked questions.”
