Found this quite funny:

Pretzels.
Just proves that they don't actually follow what is going on in politics. So for a rational person it should call into question their other closely held beliefs, but naaaaah....

How will society ever unlearn all the bull or is this now just the future? Certain ideological tribes with their own narrative and talking points

Why don't you first find a single thing claimed by the Proud Boys that would lead anyone to reasonably conclude that they're white supremacists before you go about posting garbage like this?

It wasn't me that called them a white supremacy group.

And to be fair, pretty much 99% of this thread is garbage.

Resentment and reprisal.

A perfect encapsulation of the Trumpist ethos.

Perfect.

Thanks Em.

Don't pretend that you are somehow morally superior when all you do is push many falsehoods and lies. Sometimes people only learn when they are the ones on the receiving end. And you understand the political game. Don't pretend that this is not what is going to happen, or that "your side" does not engage in the same behaviour. Despite you being stubborn, I never considered you to be naïve on top of all of it.

The entire political sphere is balanced on a willingness to cooperate and one of compromise. Irrespective of how we got here (you will never concede that this is inflamed by both sides so I am not interesting in even talking about this with you), this is no longer the case. Joe Biden proclaiming he is some kind of return to normalcy is one of pipe dreams.

Right, I'm wondering why you're adding to the garbage, because I wish to calibrate my approach to ensure that my response in kind doesn't miss the mark.

If you didn't call them a white supremacy group, then it's pretty weird to respond to someone ridiculing the notion that they are in fact a white supremacy group, using footage of a Proud Boy explaining what the movement is actually about. The fact that the dude happens to be black is irrelevant except for the stupid identity political games that lefties try to force everyone to play by when they engage in their mind-numbingly stupid political smacktalk, which for some weird reason Chris Wallace thinks it's okay to imitate.

I already provided way more than needed evidence to counter this. But as mentioned they are stuck in their own little echo chamber where everything said on twitter is true.
Twitter fact checked it, so it's okay ...

Just in time for elections :giggle:
Oh, I seen this show before, just a remake now with more current plot twists.

That's all he can do is cry salty tears all over the forums. Just like some other boys around here.

Someone should ask him what makes one hyper-partisan, and then ask him to explain how 95% of those in these threads do not fall under that category. Wake me up if he can produce anything of substance. I won't be holding my breath however.

Vindicativeness is a recipe that works. You lefties reap what you sow.

I wonder what you call it when people put everyone into a bucket of people, and call them "garbage and broken people" or some form, and then attack the very people that call that out? How many times have we seen very high level politicians do just that and the usual people are cool with that?

What's so interesting is that Greg was happy to call Trump treasonous over and over for over two years on the basis of really nothing. He was also so gleeful when Trump was impeached, proclaiming "impeachment is forever", almost rubbing it in everyone's faces he was so happy. Now, at the prospect of it happening to "his side", he now wants to take the moral high ground?

First, show me instances of Republicans willing to cooperate and compromise with Democrats for the benefit of all Americans since Newt's Republican revolution blew up bipartisanship in the 90s.

Second, the *only* way you're capable of seeing eliminating the filibuster, or adding justices to the Supreme Court, or social justice, or a woman's sovereignty over her own body, or an environmental policy that's good for the world, or expanding healthcare, or making education free, or expanding voting rights and protecting elections... is a direct attack on conservatives.

The notion of the many benefiting, rather than the few is inconceivable to you.

Third, watching conservatives who at best won't even acknowledge there are rules to the game, at worst use those rules as weapons to bludgeon Democrats, having hissy fits when Democrats play the Republican game is giving me life.

Thanks Em.

Har har har. Someone is angry. Who says I don't believe in any of that? Less righteous indignation, buddy.

Expanding voting right rights and protecting elections? Now that is the biggest joke I have read on here the whole day.

This is how the Americans protect elections, folks.

Can someone tell me what happens when so many people believe that elections will not be accurate? Anyone? But these clowns can't even get behind voting with proper identification. America is 10 times richer per person than South Africa, yet South Africa can get it done. But the almighty USA cannot? Pull my other leg while you are at it.

Dunno, may be stepping on a minefield here, but looking at religious terrorism, Islamic terrorists are technically right-wing if you look at their mandates.

Care to explain the parallels?

@buka001, care to unpack why you agree with this assertion?
