A 28-year-old Chicago man livestreaming on Facebook was shot dead during his broadcast.

Antonio Perkins, 28, was taking his friends through his neighbourhood in Chicago on Wednesday, using Facebook to broadcast video live, when, suddenly, gunshots were heard.

The livestream captured his murder.

In the video, Perkins is hanging out with friends and looking around. Later, his eyes dart to one side of the street and he says “boy, stop it” before two shots ring out.

The camera fell to the ground, first showing grass, and then darkness. But the audio continued.

Screams followed: “Oh, my God!” “Call the police!” “Tony! No!”

Impossible. Chicago has some of the toughest gun laws in the USA. Everyone knows if you ban guns, people don't get shot anymore.

True but certain areas of all the major cities are not for out of towners. Even crime in Canada is on the rise.

aaagh its like that all over the world, bad spots best to avoid. until fixed :p

what?! 16 times. did it happen because they are streaming on facebook? just wondering.
 
The headline implies he knew he would be murdered and decided to livestream it. Maybe it's just me.
