So I stayed up last night and watched the men's final. Andy Murray finally won an open. What a match though. One rally was 54 shots. 5 sets it went to. Impressive match by both players.

Man, I wish I could have watched the whole match. I stayed up to watch the first set. I saw that rally that lasted 54 shots. It was insane. I'm so glad Murray finally won. All the top 4 have now won a grand slam this year. Andy moves up to number 3 in the rankings.

Stay away from Sky news. The boy from Dunblane, or whatever it is they call him, is all they'll talk about for the next 2 weeks. Probably out there interviewing the mum of one of the ball boys. "Tell us how you felt when your son threw the ball to Andy. You just knew that was the winning ball, didn't you?" Bloody hell.

congrats to murray ...i can never stay up late and watch

and espn is not the best broadcaster as well

no i don't like espn, they not the best at all.

murray has been so frustrating just like henman. you route for them to win and nothing. i wasn't expecting him to win actually so was quite shocked that he pulled it off. but rather pleased that finally an "englishman in new york" won a blerry title. :D

The difference is that Murray can actually play tennis.

Was watching right till the end then dozed off during the last couple of games only to wake up during the trophy ceremony. Been waiting ages to see Murray win a slam and I missed it
