Insane for the US to attack them i reckon. China don't need long range missiles when they have flying supersonic nuclear ready missile loaded in submarines. They fly low so cannot be detected by radar and they twice the speed of sound.

You don't understand, google it, capped atm, but America has the better technology, as they have a better budget. The whole "they are asian and therefore technologically more capable" is stupid..

Anyways, we can both agree though, none of them will wage war with each other. And as Peter said, the US navy wants a higher budget

While the US's only real advantage is their aircraft carriers but the chinese subs and the OP would pretty much render them useless.

So the Us would be faced with 2 options, go in or nuke them, sadly i fear they may choose the nuke option.

US has numerous bases in the region and it has the support of India which is also weary of China. These Chinese subs are all tracked by the US anyway and at the first sign of hostilities most of them would be sunk within a few hours.

Look war sucks and honestly I hope that never happens - no a single soldier on either side should ever die, nor a single civilian. I spit at war.
 
Like Peter said, both US and China need each other, probably more than any of us realise. One could entertain the idea of a war between both countries but, I for one feel that the US would win. And my sole reason for saying this is that the US has not gone through a single decade since WW2 without being involved in some conflict or other, they have the experience and that does count for a lot!
 
Soviet Russia won WW2 let's not forget, the US/UK only irritated the Nazis by bombing like cowards after Russia weakened Nazi Germany in the East.

Actually the Russians were able to wear the Germans down in the East because of US materiel aid.

Why should I give credit when it's taught in schools everyday? they credit themselves enough no need for me to add to it.

Well of course except even on the Eastern front the Soviet Army was not the only one fighting the war.... and to add people all forget the aid the US gave to Russia. Russia also signed a cowardly peace with Japan, let's not forget that.

The Russian military used US trucks and Jeeps right into the late 40s in Eastern Europe. :) LOL.
 
The Brits sent aid the Soviets via the treacherous arctic route to Murmansk when they were at breaking point themselves

I never said Soviet Russia could do it alone, but the US/UK knew it could not defeat Russia on it's own...

Churchill stated within the briefing documents for Unthinkable that it was a "precautionary study" of what he hoped was a "purely hypothetical contingency".[2] For their part, the planners wanted to commit as little material as possible to paper. The plan was rejected by the British Chiefs of Staff Committee as militarily unfeasible due to a greater than two to one superiority in Soviet land forces in the Europe and Middle East areas where the conflict was projected to take place.

In the report of 22 May 1945 an offensive operation was deemed "hazardous". Any quick success would be due to surprise alone. If a quick success could not be obtained before the onset of winter the assessment was that the Allies would be committed to a total war which would be protracted. If United States forces were not involved, the odds became "fanciful".

That's debatable. What's fact is without the US, chances are more likely that Germany would have won. America pushed into Berlin, so did Russia, but if you look at geography, it was a bigger feat. America fought in the Pacific without Russia. America fought in Northern Africa without Russia.

UK/France/Czech/Poland/ lots of European countries were crushed by Germany.
UK forces were wearing thin as hell
