Not necessarily the whole picture. Many are legal / documented / US citizens who are doing the work but have dependents who are undocumented with them but this association now makes having such dependents a felony in Florida. The number of US-born citizens with undocumented parents in Florida is an example. I think Florida has underestimated the economic contribution these Floridians make.

I’ve said it before but the immigration system is broken to a great extent.
