US Server horde S. African radiding guild?

As the title says, I've been dying ever since I got back to SA and had to stop raiding due to time conflicts. I was hardcore while in University in the states and on my server was the best geared/dps hunter (4 piece Conqueror gear and bis non hard mode stuff) and also had an alt T7.5 holy priest. Other stuff but those were my mains.

I'm desperately looking to transfer to any other US realm that fits SAs times better. I just really don't know where to start. I know EU has SA guilds and players in SPADES but US I draw a blank! Anyone have any suggestions or tips on where I can look?

It would be greatly appreciated and I'm sure it would help other players in my position too.

The USA servers will be empty during the times that you play.
Perhaps you should consider moving your character to the EU realms.
Better time-zone match.
 
Sorted is still on the US side and are Horde. I can't remember what server they are on and their website seems to be down.

Edit: Whoops. Skurm beat me to it.
 
Yay I found their website, thanks guys. www.sorted-guild.com and yes they are US. It looks like they are still S. African and beasting thrrough content that is exactly where I am. It seems to be the only good US based guild around so hopefully I can get in >.<. Davemc, I wish I could move my character to EU but that's impossible because Blizz doesn't offer this service. I inquired on another thread here. If it does become available in the future I will consider it but for now I'll cross my fingers on Sorted.

They're a really great bunch of people, I was a member for quite a while about 2 years ago (which shows how long they've been around, and still going strong) and only moved to EU because of really bad latency on my part to the US (couldn't really raid at all with almost 1k ping). If your latency to US servers is playable, you can't go wrong.

On Eredar using lowerping.com it's 330ms (600 without lowerping). Its a far cry from 7ms when I was there but still very playable since I could still put out heavy dps and well timed heals. I can only assume Sorted's server Whisperwind will be better since they;ve been playing there since the start. Ouch to your 1k latency, that really isn't an option for raiding at all!

So you moved to EU, did you start from scratch??? Brave man indeed.
 
Yeah, went from a 70 drood and 70 hunter US side to a shammy and later DK EU side. Wasn't too bad, I quite enjoy levelling actually. My shammy is 80, my DK is 80 and my mage is 72 and quickly on his way to 80 too.

If I could get 350-odd ms to US I'd probably rez my drood, would love to play with the new forms and it's stil probably my favourite class to play out of all of them thus far. Sadly last time I tried, my lag averaged around 700, even with Your-Freedom, which just isn't pleasant at all.
