US Visa DS-160 timeout problem

I've been trying for the past few days to complete the DS 160 form online but it keeps timing out. Have tried Firefox (their suggestion) most of the time, safari and google chrome. All have timed out multiple times. When I click save it also just times out so that's not helpful. Any tips? Thanks

Are you attaching documents? Check their sizes and also your internet upload speed.

Also, what connection are you on. I've recently had lots of packet drops. Not really noticeable in daily browsing, but try to download, upload or game on it and you notice it.

Not my internet connection, have a very solid fibre line. I think its a common problem with their website but really frustrating having it time out every single time and not be able to save

Finally got it to work using Google Chrome in Incognito mode, no other tabs open. The only time it actually saved and didn't time out.
