What are you looking for? Mini DVI - vga perhaps?
AAArrghh... Getting impatient - so much so that I'm considering getting a new LCD monitor with a DVI input. I have mini to DVI connector but no DVI cable so hoping a new monitor will have it in the box... and don't forget there's a difference between DVI-I and DVI-D (Eish!!)

The mini DVI to DVI has a DVI-D plug. The DVI to VGA has a DVI-I plug
It is the official Apple adaptor - got it from iStore...

DVI-D is digital only - that is what the miniDVI to DVI has. Only has the flat horizontal pin on the left hand side (looking at the pins)
DVI-I is digital and analogue - has 4 extra pins around the left hand side flat horizontal pin which is what the Apple DVI to VGA adaptor has (Using that on my PC atm for dual displays).
I got a plain DVI to VGA adaptor with my PC display card and lobbed the 4 pins off to 'make' it fit the Mini to DVI
. The Mac picks up the display but the display won't work (needs the analogue feed from the 4 small pins around the horizontal flatty) .All too complicated!! Only thing that will work is a LCD display with a DVI-D connector and cable (iStore say they have tons of the cinema displays in stock
$$$ )...or naturally the MiniDVI to VGA which is not available in the country.

hmmmm... tell me something I don't know!Well then - you should buy the mini-dvi to vga adaptor as soon as it's available.
don't like that.. there must be another way that's quicker

hehehe, I am not going to even try to figure out exactly what the problem is 
, but a quick scan of all the DVI-x references, I am assuming the reason why my LG LCD is not working with the MBP is somewhere in this thread

Heh heh yes - its a pain...... Do some reading up on DVD-I and DVD -D.
Anyway, I just got back from Makro with a 17" Fujitsu-Siemens LCD with a DVI-D plug. No cable supplied but the salesman popped one laying around into the box for me (good customer I am) and now I have dual screens WHOOOP!!
Can cancel the ZA store order now.
I think I'm going to order a mini-dvi to vga just for the heck of it.
With my normal 'luck', they will probably deliver it tomorrow..

The only time I would run parallels in the background is if they sort out USB support. Then I could use my skype adaptor and ditch the old pc I have to keep running.

I am not having hassels with USB - if I plug my 80gig portable HD in under WinXP in parallels, it detects and picks it up - don't know about skype adaptor though - this is with RC2.
