Im not really sure, under which threat topic I should put this but I thought Current Affairs might do

My dad subscribed to http://www.usafis.org for a greencard. I found the site pretty dodgy/unreal. Is this true or is my imagination running away from me??

Don't use third parties to enter the Diversity Lottery (aka "green card lottery").
Read this warning from the US government.

Enter directly on the State Dept website (used to be via USCIS, but it's now handed to State). The 2010 lottery is closed, so you can enter the 2011 one before Dec.
