looking at netlimiter and dumeter, is it at all possible just to filter out the internet part from all the traffic over your network port instead of getting a combined result each time for both local network and internet traffic ?

In Netlimiter you can select Zone > Internet which gives you your internet usage

i have done exactly that, but as i said it runs over my one network card and that also includes local lan traffic whether or not in the selected internet zone...

guess there is an IP out there that you can set exclude 10.0.0.0/255.255.255.0 traffic and include rest....
