Usb ADSL Modem?

With the power cuts, I need a way to supply my laptop with internet.

Anyone have suggestions for USB Modems? Needs to support Vista 64. There doesn't seem to be any decent ones available online, hard to determine if some of them even support Vista.

I have a microcomm USB modem that I bought from Matrix... never use it anymore. Should have the drivers around here somewhere.

I have heard up to 3hrs or so.

Some of the cheaper UPS' will power a standard linksys WRT router for half a day a bit less with heavy traffic.

my dad uses this on his laptop when the power goes out
