Hi
I have a Transcend 640GB drive and copied a number of Avi files to the drive and plugged into my DVD player and watched the movies fine.
I gave the drive to a friend who copied some movies to the drive under a another folder. I can not see the files on the DVD player but can see my old files in another folder fine.

I then formated the drive to NTFS and now my DVD player can not see any files on the drive , BUT my pc can see all the files.

Fat32 does not see large drives , so what format was the drive in the beginning and help me with a solution. What format must I format it at. pls.
Thanks

FAT32. FAT32 works fine on drives up to 2TB.

FAT32 has a file size limitation of 4GB so you cannot use files larger than 4GB.

So format your drive to FAT32.
