hi there

i only got 2 usb ports on my pc and iam wondering if there is such a thing as a usb extention, something simliar to a ps2 to usb converter used for mouse's and keyboards but one that goes into perhaps a usb port and then has more usb ports the other side, so two ports would become 4 or something like that? if that makes sence

Well not a ps2 one, you get extenders that slot into an empty PCI slot. Most motherboards come with them but can also be purchased separately from most PC shops. I think you get external ones as well that just plug into a USB port (provided you still have an available one;))

Its called a usb hub and yes they exist and work very nicely. You can get a Mecer 4 port ext. usb hub for about R175. Try get something with a power supply as usb power alone is not enough to power all the devices plugged into the unit.

oh great thanks alot

where might i find it on the mercer site please
