USB modem E220 latency

Hey all

Downloaded a patch for the online game I play and noticed that download speed doesnt exceed 300kbps normally got 1000 or more. I normally run 4 clients, IRC chat, IE and teamspeak at the same time (eve-online) with no prob. Well now thats not happening anymore.
Spoke to a friend and he noticed his download speed also dropped on his USB modem.
(I live In Pta east)

Any1 have a idea if vodacom nerfed the speeds or what going on?
Cause this really sucks tbh.

And is there something that can increase my download speed should this not be the case?

Get a new modem. The E220 was great in its day when we still compared its performance to dialup.

I'm not so sure how the firmware update will assist you. Personally my E220 has been gathering dust for the last year after I got a newer modem.
