Hi,
I want to set up an old linux box as a router connected to my adsl modem.
Only problem is that I am using an USB modem (stupid purchase I know.)
If I could somehow make the USB modem (Microcom Deskporte USB ADSL) appear to be an ethernet interface then it would be easy. From there I would just just RP-PPPoE client and IPTABLES for routing.
Do I have a chance or should I just throw the USB modem away and buy an ethernet modem?
Thanks
