What are specs. to look out for when buying wireless devices ?
At the moment (for me), speed is not the primary factor, but reach is. Most products do not seem to specify expected reach.
I see that many devices are 4dB and the better ones up to 9dB
Assuming (to keep it simple), unobstructed areas, what is the range of typical 4dB (and other) devices.
For the physics/math minded, I'm also assuming an inverted square law for distance between wireless device and wireless router for signal strength ?
