Why do i always get the weird issues....anywayz

long story short... plug any device into the front usb of my case and WHAM pc is off....jip clean power off...

or...plug it in while the pc is off and then switch the pc on...and the device works fine ?????

Case has been swopped out (incl PSU) ... Gigabyte X1 + 400W Delta PSU
Motherboard has been swopped out ... ASUS M2V

the usb connector's cable is fine (VCC,-,+,gnd)

and P.S. if I use a standard USB Port bracket and plug it into the same connection on the board that I use for the front usb - then it works fine :p

help

I had similar problems, also on an AMD. For me, installing service pack 1 and new drivers helped...

You haven't stripped any of the molex connectors or anything coming out of the PSU? Ie. braiding etc? Sounds like a faulty PSU/earthing problem to me.
