Hi all, I have a problem with my headphones and my iburst modem :)

I have a plantronics DSP400 Headphones (USB) and when they are plugged into the USB, everything works fine. The moment I plug my iburst modem in through the USB the sound gets messed up and sounds are slow and crappy. If I plug the modem in through the Ethernet everything is fine. I checked and I have latest software/firmware/etc. I have the old white iburst modem. It isnt that serious i suppose cause I can use the ethernet port but sometimes I need to use the USB...

Thanx in advance

Hi there
I had/have the same problem with Plantronics and Iburst. Solution is to connect Ibrust with network cable to network card. Just be aware if you network is onboard and it is Nvidia chipset then you can find another problem and that is that if you use Skype, VOIP buster that network card after some time just stop working and then you have to hard reset PC.
100% safe solution is to plug PCI network card and disable on board. My Iburst works that way and it costed me R85 for card.
This happen to me when I bought new PC. With old one 6years AMD worked 100% on USB.
I hope this helps

Yep I got that restart problem with the network port, when I play CS source online with steam it does it :( so far from what i've seen it just needs some windows updates, havent played online for awhile but it seems to have stopped having that problm
