Well, I know of a PCI to LAN adapter... I'm guessing a USB to LAN adapter is the same thing, just external.

Are you trying to run a usb device over a network cable? Or are you looking for a usb nic?

@Madman88....my internal lan packed up and instead of buying a PCI lan I want the USB2LAN adapter can import from here http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.34691
However I was hoping to buy local if aavailable.

Unless you have a laptop, don't get it. They are very slow, unless you get an USB2 one, but then again, if you have a laptop, use the wireless.

I bought a Yodata USB to LAN adapter at a local Matrix store last week for R159, installed without a problem on client's older laptop where the network card packed up.
