ok, so i have an external HDD that is hooked up to the tv in the lounge, and it does not have a lan port, so i need to get a usb to lan converter/adapter so that i dont have to keep moving the HDD between the lounge and the bedrooms to transfer data, as i want to connect it to the hub in the lounge. anyone know where i can get 1?

Not sure but you can make one, there was a guide in PCFORMAT a few issues back.

Making one is one thing, getting it to work is another. Surely you would need drivers for it to work? A simple hardware USB--> LAN i don't think will work. The one I have from sybaritic (R200) uses software drivers that came with it on a cd
as the tv is not a PC, it won't be able to run the drivers. So dunno that that would work
