Usb Vs Lan

It doesn't matter, your bottle neck is the speed of the iBurst connection not the connection between the modem and your machine.

usb or lan... it's about your computing environment and not the speed.
for example, my friend is using ethernet cable for his sentech connection because pc crashes(when hyperthreading is on) when he uses his usb cable.

Which one gives the faster connection>

Yebo Yes, desraid, It all depends on your computing environment, if your computer is on the network then you can use USB but if its a stand alone then I would recomend using Lan as you can free some usb ports..... I have used iburst on LAN and USB and had no major difference. currently on USB since two computers share the connection.

Lan is better if you got free ports since lan has its own microprocessor (expansion cards), meaning that (and ive proven my theory) if you're using USB and you go 100% cpu usage, your iburst connection grinds to a halt since USB gets less processing time.

hehe, the best is still a router, with wifi, but that is a whole different story...

question - if i use the usb connection, I connect (not to the modem) at 1mb/s but if i use the lan I connect at 10mb/s or 100mb/s

that connection speed between your PC and the modem is independent of the iBurst networks speed, so it does not matter if your PC connects to the modem at 1, or 10 mbs

yes i know,i connect to modem at 10mb/s but when I connect by dialing or however it connects it goes 10mb/s or 100mb/s,does that connection change the speed

That is actually the ethernet connection speed, ie how fast your PC is conected to the modem, which I'm sure makes no difference in your actual IBurst connection.

I've had it connect at 1gb/s, that was fun, show my friends my fast new internet :)
