USD Bank Account - Options

I want to buy some USD stocks via EasyEquities (if there's a better option, let me know).

As I understand it I require a USD bank account. What is the best/cheapest option for such a bank account and to get funds into the account?

EasyEquities has a dollar account , just transfer from the R account to the USD account and buy shares in USD

Its a "Soft" USD account. You don't actually have one in that you can't receive USD from overseas into it, or make SWIFT payments USD->USD etc.

But you can move USD funds into it through transfers via their platform and trade with them etc.
