Interesting. I wonder what's up with Google - are they just not reporting because of low trade volume or do they literally turn off over the weekend. Strange.

Interbank market closes 5pm New York time and opens in New Zealand Sunday night. Anything in-between is meaningless.

Still doesn't explain the graph. Someone made a coding decision there.
this is very common place over the weekend and google its usually not correct.

Google seems accurate to me at a glance - did some time based comparisons with XE.com, but this seems like an odd coding decision... I would have done something like this:
