Just thought I'd share this with the rest of you guys. I was bummed to find out that you can't natively use your BB as a powerpoint remote via bluetooth which is pretty standard on most other smart phones. Well I came across an app called Vectir ( www.vectir.com ) which allows you to use your BB as a remote for your pc via bluetooth or wifi, but I've only tested the bluetooth part. You can download the pc part from the website mentioned and the BB part from app world. It allows you to do more, like control media players as well. Its not free but it gives a 30 day trial which should be enough if you just want to test it out or want to use it a few times. So far it works great and is one of the few BB apps I would say is worth a purchase. :)

Update: Check out the website, theres ways in which you can earn free licenses to use this software.

I tried this application several weeks ago but could not get it to work. It would not connect to my computer - maybe something to do with the IP address. I eventually gave up it. I also found that it was chewing my battery life just by being installed (why do programs and apps do that?) so I deleted it.

Have u considered using BT? It worked without a hitch for me.

I know its old, but anyone used or using a similar app that works?
