Use e-tolls to avoid crime: Sanral

Wow, I wonder how SAPS feel about this ad campaign? Encouraging people to use E-tolls because another branch of the government is ineffectual...

Then please explain the "high risk of hijacking" sign there by marlboro ON an e-toll route?

The entire e-toll network is one huge crime perpetrated on the people of South Africa.
By paying for driving on the toll roads you become complicit in that crime.

At least Hijackers are honest about their thievery

They do realize that you can sue gov for failing to provide a safe free alternative right? Or has that been swept under the carpet? In particular the trip from Alandale to M1 South which has no lanes and between 20h00-05h00 you kinda have expect people driving head on, in your lane.

I'm wondering what the RAF payout on alternative eToll routes has been pre & post etolls

Are there regular police (SAPS/metro/NTP) patrols nowadays? I avoid the GIFP e-toll roads now, but I recall driving from Sandton to Pretoria or the other way around every day and almost never seeing any patrolling vehicles.

"Use e-tolls to avoid crime" ~ "e-toll-less travel will be criminal" (ie. "It will eventually be illegal to travel without making use of the national e-toll infrastructure in some form.")

I am. It's a crime to have to pay e-Tolls. So I don't, I just use the highway to avoid crime and by not paying e-Tolls I also do not support legal crime..

First the celebs now this. These clowns are starting to reek of desperation.

I thought they were beyond reeking, down to outright stinking.

Still I think this is due to Kapsch putting SANRAL's head honcho's balls in the bench vise last week.
