I assume that if you do not use all of your 3GB per month it does not carry over to the next month. For example you use 2.5GB one month and the next month you have 3.5GB. Could something like this be implemented?

lol, thats wishful thinking. If you dont use the bandwidth it means more profit

Although that would earn some points vs ADSL

Well the truth is no one knows untill we actually have a cap, but I'd say they definatly wouldn't carry it over from month to month.

True, but no one knows anything bcos WBS refuse to tell us what they are considering, or even let us know if they listen to anything that we say. This total disregard for customers does not spell a good future for WBS, and it is really sad bcos they looked so much better than Sentech back in November.

I was just trying my luck.... :-) WBS for what it's worth I need an uncapped, unshaped service option from you guys to make it worthwhile - if the current trend continues it looks like another contract cancelling happening. I don't even want to think of the alternative, T----M A--L aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
At least I see in the news the SNO is slowly unfolding maybe by 2007 something might happen.

Oh wow, 1 power users gonna cancel thier contract, I bet they're gonna overhaul the system right away </sarcasm>

Let me save you the wait, they will NOT give you an uncapped unshaped service anytime soon, so you may as well go ahead and cancel that contract and move to a first world country.

They test it on us, the "power users" and techno geeks but really they just want Joe Whatshisface down the road who checks email twice a day and asks a bunch of silly questions on forums occasionally.

I know slimothy, its the story of SA internet...the one service is just as bad and expensive as the other, just on different levels...seriously I think I will stick it out with these guys - like I said before they might be gone before my 2 year contract runs out...who knows.
