Hi Guys.

I currently have a 4850 in my PC. Is it possible for me to add the 8800GT into the second PCI-E and dedicate it to PhysX while the 4850 handles graphics?

Regards

Itai

Thanks for that ... just what I needed :) ... I see it says Vista gives an issue, and Windows 7 works perfectly ... thankfully I am now on Windows 7. Next weekend I will clean my PC, put in new thermal Grease ... clean my 4850's heatsink and apply new thermal grease, will install the 88gt and see how it all goes and bench it :)

Can't you use a cheaper card if you only going to be using it for physx?

Edit: A little off topic but what if you have a board with 3 pci-e slots, can you go crossfire in two and use the 3rd for this?

A 8500gt is the minimum you can use for physx.

Seems that resurrecting old thread is starting to be my thing. :)

Any update on this, since the new drivers don't allow for this. I know there was a thread for this on Prophecy, but I can't seem to find it.
