I suspect around RK12.5 would be fair value, considering the added RAM and HDD, but I'm open to being corrected by knowledgeable individuals ;)

Battery in good condition too - iStat reports 171 cycles with battery quality hovering around 90% - sometimes a bit above, sometimes a bit below.

Meaning you think RK12.5 is too much - or you don't have the cash? What is your price range?

Been thinking about it, and i actually dont have a need for another macbook now. If i do get one i will upgrade my current one (2.4 13.3" aluminium unibody) and use that for the same reason i want to get yours. I still think yours is a little expensive for a 2008 model, as we are already on the second gen on macbook pros. Try 12 500, and if you struggling drop it a bit.

May 2008 MBP (just before Unibody released), 15", 2.4GHz, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD in excellent condition with original packaging and charger, Snow Leopard : what's it worth, and is anybody interested?

Here it is : http://mybroadband.co.za/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=12787

No offense but there is just something not nice about using someone else's keyboard - all that grime and grit and possibly p..... hair to remove - yuck....

But yeah if it's in good condition - you should sell it well. Just clean it nicely :).

Pubes? Really, you should start thinking before you type!
It's one thing going off on a tangent about something you feel passionately about, but your comment is way out of line. How would anybody NOT take offence to your insinuation!? Time to grow up!

Don't bother to respond - just go away.

I'm just kidding - man! Don't get all worked up about it. But seriously people spit and spill stuff on their keyboards and the pizza and what-not. To be honest I'd never use someone else's keyboard unless it was spotless I guess - even then it would feel weird. Ok, maybe others would. Same for an iPod or a mouse etc.

No offense taken. You do know that keyboards are dirtier than toilet seats?

Different people take care of their equipment and personal hygiene in different ways.

The degeneration of this thread is not helping me sell my MacBook. Subject closed.
