I have 2 samsung lcd tv's. One in bedroom and one in lounge. Have a remote extender with the tv in the loubge for pvr.

Problem, whenever I switch on the tv in bedroom the lounge tv switch on too.... Prob in middle of the night!

The remote extender is not in direct sight of the tv in the lounge but yet it seemed to affect it.

So I used an old cellphone screen, polarized plastic that I attached to the sensor of the lounge tv and it solved the problem, as the polarized glass affects the ir signal at an angle....

Give it a try if you have the same problem

Let me know if it worked for you! I am so glad mine is fixed

good advice. a few weeks ago we installed two aircons - one in the tv room and one in the main bedroom(the two rooms are at the opposite sides of quite a big house). when we turned on the one aircon, the other one would also magically turn on, and for the life of us we couldn't figure out why it is doing this. it was only a few days later that we realized that it was the remote blaster that was sending the signal to the other aircon
