Acoording to Speedtest.net my ping is always just 10ms.

That's because you are pinging local servers, where you're trying to play on EU servers

I used to play cs 1.6 on dial up, it wasnt great but it worked. International servers are always terrible in that game.

I use to play this during the late 90s and early 2000s ... I was fairly good back then. Now, I'm crap.
My ratio is about 1 kill : 2 deaths

Sort servers by ping. You're looking for sub 50.

And yes you will get hammered.
