So I have been a massive fan of lossless scaling because it brought back life into old GPU's. Now it's extended that with the latest windows 11 and 2 x GPU's you can esentially use the better GPU for computing and the weaker gpu to do the frame generation squeezing out as much performance as you can without having to sacrifice some performance when using frame generation on a single GPU.

What do you guys think?

I need someone to sponsor me at least 2x GPU first before I can comment :p

I have seen chatter about it and it seems very promising

Not Lossless Scaling, but I turned an old SLI laptop into exactly that using lsfg-vk on CachyOS.

Just a bit of caution for those with old hardware. If you have a low-end CPU or an old CPU, just avoid it. You are going to need a lot of copium. Then there is GPU support; make sure that both GPUs support the same APIs. I am speaking of DirectX and Vulkan. For older GPUs, there are drivers on Linux that can help you navigate some of these issues. This is also a lot easier using Lossless Scaling on Windows than lsfg-vk on Linux. If you have an Nvidia GPU, your options might be limited regarding what distro to use.

The creators of Magpie don't seem intent on bringing a form of frame generation to their software anytime soon. Essentially, it is only Lossless Scaling for Windows or the lsfg-vk project for Linux.

If you don't need it, you don't need it.
