Using 3G card in Tanzania

Help someone out there.

Im located in Tanzania and I installed ubuntu on my machine. I cannot connect to the internet using a 3G card. I followed the available help file on using broadband connection but encountered a problem when I tried to add the device, i.e. Tanzania is not listed and Zain my service provider does not feature and there is no option to add them. What can I do ?

please note that I am not a developer so please use English.

I would suggest you get a prepaid sim from a local service provider and use that in your 3G card. provided your 3G card is not network locked.
