Is it possible to use a 512K account on a 1MB/4MB line?

Theoretically this should work, although I have yet to try it?

Can anyone confirm of bury this??

As far as I understand it, you can use the account, but you will be limited to the speed that that account is set to.

Not necessarily. But 512k will be all you could rely upon. If this is an IS express "uncapped" account, you will probably be able to get full speeds after hours, but you will still be subject to the 10gb per 10 days volume threshold. You'll just reach it so much faster.

I currently have an IS uncapped, shaped account. Not sure if its express though.

What is the cost of an IS uncapped 1MB/4MB account?
